Here in part two we will be looking at the facilities in the main estate. Time to get some sweet interior decorating done. We start at the entrance to the main hall with the receptionist. A great place to hang out, plenty of seating, ambassadors, Jedi and others all spend a lot of time here. The doors are guarded by the Dark Honour Guard, which are basically the Eternal Order’s Temple guards. The guilds colours are red and black, so I used Onderon banners as the default flag, though in some places it’ll feature dark and light banners, as well as the odd Republic and Imperial, which was added for our Roleplay Cadre, ‘Legends’.
First room on the right is a small cantina and utilities room. This features all the utilities you could need again, as well as Jawas playing a board game, monitors, couches, bar and neat arrangement of square Gree lights.
Next room across the hall, or the first on the left, is the armoury and firing range. Complete with monitors, couches, droids and mandalorians practicing their marksmanship.
In the centre of the hall I’ve used stone walls pretty much exactly like I did on my last Alderaan build but I got them a bit neater this time and bookended them with Statues of the Serene Pilgrim, a frequently used decoration in this stronghold. The large Alderaanian statue to the right features a Zakuul water fountain placed behind it, another frequently used decoration in this stronghold. At the end of the hall we have more plants, plenty of flora in this hall, with a nice shrine and datacrons.
The final room off the main hall to the left is a small med lab, which I’ve divided into two sides, a waiting room and the actual kolto tanks with the doctor, utilising the Czerka office dividers and the aisle runner rugs.
As we move down the north corridor it takes us to the throne room. A nice spacious room with plenty of chairs. This is another room I had great fun building for the Eternal Order’s RP cadre, ‘Legends’. The feature in this room are the small fountains that line the walls. I used this combo in my library in my own Alderaan build. What I do is I combine 3 decorations together, 2 on the wall, one on the floor. An Elegant Water Fountain on the top, a Copero Hanging Plant underneath, and orange vines from Ossus creating a stem to hold the other two decorations seemingly.
Up the adjacent corridor we arrive at my favourite spot to chill while I wait for groupfinder to pop, the terrace. I would rate this one higher than the one in my own stronghold as I expanded on those ideas here. I’ve overlapped a jukebox (the one with the jazz tune) into the Makeb Gazebo, neatened up the cafe and placed plants and overgrowth under the statue siting in the waterfall.
That’s all for part 2, in part 3 we’ll be looking at the snowy exterior and ruins that sit between the estate and the retreat.
