The Khoonda Farm is desert farm set on the edge of the Dune Sea. A group of poor refugees from Dantooine made their way to the harsh sands and were able to settle down together, making use of moisture farming. Through this they were able to create their own useable land. Missing their planet, they started integrating many elements from their home world to serve as a reminder. Over time, they were able to produce more and more food and started creating more innovative ideas in order to produce better crops.
About 80% of this stronghold was built when Pirate Incursion dropped; however, I abandoned the project for a long time due to lack of ideas and decided to work on others instead. Back in April of this year, I decided to return to this project and finish it one and for all and start a new idea for my Tatooine Homestead.
The idea behind this SH was to create a farm amongst the desert. Most ideas were drawn from Ossus and Dantooine. The SH is intentionally extremely basic in design as the farmers don’t have time, money, or much interest, in luxury.
