One word.
Yes.

I need 2 to put in front of my alderranian throne

Lol nice. “You dare to not bow to me?”

I hope it’s intractable so that it’s in the ground then click on it to make the turret come up like the enemy turrets.

Same, I think these won’t be very good if they aren’t interactable. Could be like the turrets from Colicoid War Games, as in you can interact with them.

The turret can be interacted with, but it doesn’t deploy and retract. Clicking on the turret makes it fire twice. It stays deployed at all times.

Why does it have this stupid blue?
Other interactive decorations don’t have it.
It makes it a blue canon.

yup the pulsing blue color is super-lame. very distracting.

I got a couple of these turrets to for my Nar Shadaa stronghold and was very irritated and disappointed that it permanently glows blue as if it were a node. I don’t know about the rest of you, but it’s like the employees at Bioware are churning out these decorations without thinking things through are paying attention to the little details. For those of us who have devoted tons of time and money crafting, acquiring and arranging decorations, it is very frustrating when an otherwise perfectly fine deco ends up getting botched in some way. Why on earth did they decide to make this turret glow blue when previous interactive decorations looked normal? For that matter, why didn’t the devs bother to make MORE decorations interactive. They could have made all the storage locker decorations serve as a cargo bay–just like the one on your starship. They could have given you a song selection menu for the juke boxes so you could select the desired track rather than have it be randomized. Some of this seems like it wouldn’t be a big deal to do and it’s aggravating that the devs don’t pay attention to these things. I love the idea of Strongholds and I like that my SWTOR experience can be customizable, but I think they need to put more thought into this. I think most players would love more interactivity in their decorations. The casino tables should offer an animation or even a fun mini-game. The personnel should all offer some kind of vendor service (why didn’t they give the waitress and bartender the ability to actually sell drinks?).
Sorry for the rant, but as a devoted SWTOR fan and stronghold aficionado I really want the devs to stop half-assing this stuff!!!

Absolutely. I hate the permablue with a passion. Put two in my personal stronghold, but would never put one in my guild. Horrible.
It’s like finding out that hooks are not symmetrical… “yeah, let’s do that in a hurry, no one will notice”.

These make the right sound now. Still glow blue unnecessarily.
