The upper level is used for a big holo communication machine, to communicate with friends in the empire. It’s big, it uses it’s own power generator to support the encryption of all communication, so the SIS and other Republic authorities can’t listen.
Right now Uh’nyl is contacting Raina Temple, Scorpio, Vette and Ashara Zavros. To the holo commication machine has an operator terminal that uses Gree technology to make shure that no one can track the communication.
Not many Smuggler own this kind of technology.
They could plan an invasion of Coruscant, at the Stronghold on Coruscant, and the Republic wouldn’t know about it.
How did you get your companions to stand on the holotermial?
Place your companions on the small hooks that are part of the large hook and move/rotate them to their position and than place the hypergate.
When you now switch to a different character, your companions should stand on top of the hypergate (instead of inside it).
This also works with tables, beds, fountains, etc.
