Credits won = 40,000 – from selling rep items, not counting profits from scrap. Also got the 3 certificates. So in the end, at least from the sample of 99x it pays to play.
It took 13 mins. to burn through a stack of 99x chips, but this time will vary because you always have a chance to win the chip back.

I can confirm that the machine drops Cartel Market Golden Certificate as well as Nar Shaddaa Golden Certificates that can be exchanged in the Star Cluster Casino at the Nightlife event vendor. I hope this helps.
How many golden certs from the nightlife event are you getting? Haven’t seen any yet.
I managed to get 2 so far. They seem to drop less regularly then the Cartel Market Certificate but that is just my experience.
I hate to be That Guy but do you have screenshots? Someone posted a table on Reddit with drop percentages and there was nothing about Golden Certs on there.
You will just have to trust me as I would only be able to show you the Golden Certificate for the Nightlife event in my Legacy bank and that doesn’t proof it. I don’t have screenshots of it dropping from the machine.

This slot machine is SO much easier to predict than the Nightlife event ones! After playing 4 stacks of 99 chips I’ve noticed a pattern to the wins. Visually, nearly every time I win a rep trophy or a CM certificate it happens when the two needles on the wheel line up, whereas with the Nightlife machines visual cues were meaningless. In addition almost every time I win a rep trophy or a CM certificate I win another one on the next spin and sometimes even a third after that! It could be different for others but after 300+ spins I think if there was a pattern it should be apparent by then.
This thing is cool. And since it is named after the first Cartel Market Rep faction, and drops those rep items, one might hope to see more of these for the other CM Rep Factions in the future.

Wow. This company is good at screwing things. You have to respect their talent to ruin everything.
Damn I knew it went bad but that is just wrong. I was pissed I didn’t get one in 6 hypercrates. Luckily that anger has started to blow over. If I had gotten one to just get chances at a faction I have already maxed my anger would know no bounds.
I just feel bad for the rp’ers and stronghold enthusiasts who purchased two or a dozen at the prices they were going for. Everyone will have max faction quick who didn’t then these just collect dust.
Not too good at math, are you? 16.999%, 13% and 4.5% do NOT mean “around 250k to get one”
And, thanks to the whiners, this machine is completely useless after 3.0.2, if you’re Legend with the reputation.. Way to go Bioware !! Way to go to the whining..
It’s not really. Leave a right click script running overnight, when you come back you’ll have your reputation you can sell each for about 1 million, and some cartel certificates you can use for scrap peddlers or whatever and sell on GTN for about 20 mil. Only takes 7 mil for 9999 coins, profit 🙂
My tries at the machine.
Used 50 chips, including the replays due to returned chips.
Spent 50 x 750 credits.
Received nothing but:
11 green rep tokens
13 blue rep tokens
2 purple rep tokens.
Well I bought 1000 coins 750k here are my results:
Green contraband rep item 200 value 100k
Blue contraband rep item 159 value 159k
Purple contraband rep item 58 value 145k
Green jawa junk 1
blue jawa junk 1
purple jawa junk 1
Cartel certificate 1 (around 800th spin)
Net loss before certificate 346k
Anyone else not getting any cartel certs lately? I used to get 1 every several hundred or so, but I’ve gone well over 1000 and still got nothing. Should just be a thing with RNG, but I want to make sure.

Bought 1000 contraband cartel chips.
Out of those 1000 chips I got:

164 blue rep items
47 purple rep items
