For the speeder platform entrance, I wanted to hammer the visitor over the head with the notion that she has entered someplace rather unsavory. The abundance of decorations is meant to instill a sense of claustrophobia, and the sheer randomness of it, from high tech computer consoles to ammunition crates, to crystal formation, to slot machines, etc. is a design theme–the entire stronghold feels like a kind of warehouse.
