OminousTen's Republic Sanctuary – The Harbinger

After the events of Makeb, to show the Republic the Hutts were serious about the new alliance, they gifted the Republic with a stronghold on Tatooine that had been "appropriated" from a previous tenant that wasn't keen on the partnership. With new galactic threats emerging everyday, this base for the Republic has served as self sustaining fortress with small Jedi enclave, cantina, research facility and command centre.
The previous history of the stronghold has proved helpful, Bounty Hunters, Smugglers and Mercenaries regularly do business for the right price, while local traders provide a constant flow of goods in exchange for protection.
